I am exploring the association of the words ‘hill’ and his contrary ‘depression’. The depression which is geographically, the angular distance of an object below the horizon or a horizontal plane and in psychology a mental condition characterised by severe feelings of hopelessness and inadequacy .

Each bridges will represent in an symbolic way one of the 7 hills of Edinburgh.

Each individual installation need to have independent interest too. It would allow people who are seeing only one to enjoy it and be curious about it without to have to see them all.

The nature of the bridge and the characteristics of the hills are what determined the installation: its materials, form etc.
