who is art for?

I link that with design and architecture, because I believe it is for the same people originally. And realized that it was for the richest 1% of the world population. Is it possible to break this hierarchy?

Contemporary artists are equally seconded into a culture that supports the privileged, endorsing a feeling of cultural superiority - they are the toothless monkey in the mix, offering. The time has maybe come for redefining roles; there is no shortage of options to do something, to change the world, to make an impression, to leave an indent.
