The holiday season is coming!  So many things to do, so many things to prepare for...time to decorate.  And time to make some stuff to decorate with.

What is ornament?  What does it mean to embellish, decorate, adorn?  What do these actions and associated objects and spaces mean to us? With staff from Design and Applied Arts you'll be engaged in developing some form of ornament to understand the spatial, visual, semantic and visceral allure of objects and spaces that communicate.  Is it merely decoration, or is it an experience that is something more?
