This project is about presenting your work to an audience; about the organisation and negotiation required to do this successfully.  It is also about you showing us what you believe your specialist area of study to be.  You have met staff and tutors from your particular area, but so far you have not had a great deal of specific specialist experience.  In this project, we’d like you to tell us what you believe your specialist area means to you, what they do, and the kind of work that results in that program or award.

On Friday, 12 November, there will be an opening of an exhibition of your work at ‘art’s complex’, a public gallery space in Edinburgh. The exhibition will be a presentation of ‘drawings’ both 2, 3 (and 4) dimensional that communicate your experience, reflections and thoughts during the last 5 weeks of your lives, and what you believe the rest of your studies may look like at ECA. The exhibition is titled “So Far”. The gallery has been booked and the press informed. The rest is your responsibility. We are imposing one condition: you cannot spend any of your own money in the execution of this project.
